my STATUS in EQUESTRIAN Sport

• I met horses when I was 40 days old.. Since then, I have been involved with them.
• In my very modest showjumping career, I won the Turkish Championships (Amazons) in 1989 and 1992, 2nd in 1987, 1988, 1997 .
• I competed in the Balkan Games in Amazones Category in
  • 1980 Ankara (TUR) (Team Bronze),
  • 1987 Sofia (BUL),
  • 1989 Piatra Neamt (ROM),
  • 1992 Istanbul (Team Silver, Individual 5th),
  • 1994 Stara Zagora (BUL) (Team Silver),
  • 1995 Istanbul (Team Silver),
  • 1996 Slobozia (ROM) (Team GOLD and 4th Individual),
  • 1997 Athens (GRE) (Team Bronze) and
  • 2005 İstanbul (Winner of Veterans Cup) for my country.
• I also won an international competition in Thessaloniki (GRE) in 1992 after 2 rounds and a Jump-Off..
• All these were with my 3 lovely horses THANKS DADDY (1987-1993) and CALIMERO (1994-1998) and recently OSBORN since 2004..
• In addition to showjumping , I participated in "Gentleman Races" organised by The Jockey Club of Turkey between 1981 and 1984 as an amateur jockey. I won 8 races out of 11 which I rode during this period, and I was placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the other 3.
• I also participated once (1997) in the Turkish Dressage Championships with Calimero, and got the 3rd place...
• In the former Turkish Equestrian Federations, I was a member of "International Relations Committee" (1992-2005)
• From March 2002 until March 2004 I worked General Secretary of the Istanbul Region Manager Armağan ÖZGÖRKEY,
• From 2002 to 2005 I worked with Ms. Sevil SABANCI for organization of Sencer CAN's competitions and then for SIEC project,
• From March 2004 until September 2005 I worked with current President of Turkish Equestrian Federation Armağan ÖZGÖRKEY (before and after the elections) , having multiple responsibilities,
• I am National Judge (Jumping) and Regional (Course Design), and in 2005 I took part in the ASCD Intensive Seminar for Course Designers in Aachen,
• I participated in several FEI Seminars directed by Mr. Paul WEIER and got qualified to enter the FEI List of Stewards.
  My first official duty was in CSIO****-W Sofia 2005..
  I recently (November 2005) participated in Mr. David DISTLER's Seminar for Chief Stewards in Aachen.

    • CSI Valkenswaard 2002 - in the Office for 3 weeks,
    • WEG 2002 - 1 week as part of Arena Crew for Toubin&Clement,
    • Olympic Games Athens 2004 - 3 weeks, mainly in Chief Steward Paul WEIER's Office, but also in Jumping and Eventing arenas and Horse Inspections as Steward (NTO)

Since December 2001 I've been into Web Design and developed the following Web sites:
• Oct 1999 - December 2001
Working freelance, mostly for PAK Holding developed purchase automation in Lotus Notes environment for PINAT.
• Dec 1997- Oct 1999 ULTIMA AS
  • BAK Ambalaj : A very complex system starting from the very first order of a product and ending with the delivery to the customer ; including definition and specifications of the product, approval cycle of the order and production, production itself, quality tests, storage, delivery , claims etc..
  • Finans Bank : Processing request and approval cycle of Credits and Credit Cards, including exchange of data with AS/400
  • Castrol : Developed the Lotus Notes applications for the mobile sales staff to communicate and exchange data with the base and for the quality Control department to follow the claims
  • Aksigorta : Sending faxes through Lotus Fax Server with the data received from AS/400 and sending reports back to AS/400
Developed following projects with Lotus Notes on behalf of the company:
• Jan 1986 - Oct 1997 MERKO GIDA AS
Created and initiated all computer system of the company with AS/400. Developed all the programs including accounts software then started with Lotus Notes in 1995 to build up the system of communication between 5 bases in different locations and all the software needed for the company
